Letters from former clients, shared with permission:

Thank you all for the kindness Gaetz has shown Gracie, Brian and I. Gracie has been going to Gaetz since she was 18 months old. Huge thank you to Maggie while she was in the toddler room giving extra love during drop off on the days Gracie needed it. She talked about Ms. Maggie all the time and would cry for her when she didn’t get her way at home. You all have been such a big part of her growing up into the sweet and sassy girl she is. Ms. Crissie and Ms. Brittney – thank you for all the you do!

It is not an easy job and NOT EVERYONE can do what all you do. Ms. Crissie and Ms. Kaitlyn – special thanks to all the TLC you have given to Gracie during injuries or just having a bad day. Gracie talks about all of her teachers but especially the ones I mentioned.

Thank you all so so much! We will miss you all.

Our next daycare will have some pretty big shoes to fill! We have absolutely loved being able to bring Bentley somewhere that made us feel so comfortable since the day he first started. As first time parents, sending our little one off to daycare was scary, but you all made the transition so easy and painless for us. As a busy mom with being a full-time student and working full-time, I feel bad for not being able to spend every possible second with Bentley. Knowing he was in good hands – learning new things, playing with new friends, and always safe – takes some of that guilt away. We are constantly in awe at the new things Bentley has learned during his time at Gaetz Kiddie Kare and are so thankful for the part that all of the staff have played in his learning!

Thank you for everything that you all have done for Bentley and us!
— With love, Brianna, Andy & Bentley

I would like to commend all of you at Gaetz for being the most understanding, sympathetic, and considerate group that I have had the pleasure of entrusting my child to. It’s very evident to me that you truly care about the children there, and are doing a great job of guiding them into the real world. Your staff is understanding, and more importantly supportive and compassionate in regards to Layla and her development. Whenever there has been an issue with her behavior, I’ve been notified, and informed of what course of action is being implemented to resolve them. Significantly better than the “fix it, it’s your problem” that I’ve received in the past.

Layla is leaps and bounds ahead of where we started and I have you to thank. I would recommend your center to anyone looking for quality child care, and I consider myself and my family lucky to have found you. On behalf of all of us, thank you.
— Sincerely, Jon K

Now that my family has relocated and have the experience of other daycares to compare, I wanted to write and hopefully give a great reference and thanks to all the hardworking, amazing people at Gaetz Kiddie Kove. My son started at the “Kove” when he was 9 months old. Being the first time he was in daycare, I was a little nervous and completely unorganized. They took him in, gave him a schedule and a 2nd home. They taught him sign language, encouraged him when he started to walk and eventually transitioned him to the older kids room at 16 months. They took in stride the fact he could literally climb up the walls and kept him safe.

He’d come home talking Spanish, signing his colors, and counting to 12. It was amazing at the knowledge spewing out every day when he came home, and how happy he was when he learned “el Caballo”. He was always happy and often asked to go there on the weekends, which broke my heart he loved them more, but it was always nice he felt like home there. My 2nd baby joined in when he was 3ish months old too and he was also a happy baby there.

My husband and I worked full-time, stressful jobs and these people never made me feel like a bad mom when I would constantly forget diapers, wipes, and other essentials – they just started to ask for them a week sooner than normal :). They cared about our jobs and daily life, which made them more in tune with our children’s needs. My son absolutely misses it there, and so do we.

Thank you for helping me raise my little animal.

I just wanted to thank you for giving my son such a wonderful experience over the past year. He first started as a shy toddler but has since turned into a confident preschooler. I have been delighted to hear him singing the alphabet song at home or in the car. I have been impressed that he has learned to recognize many letters of the alphabet and even some of the sounds, although he is only three years old. He loves to count things around the house. He especially seems to enjoy the songs he has learned. He can sing several that I never learned myself and especially enjoys acting them out at home for his family.

Although I have been impressed with how much he has learned while attending, as a mother, I have been most comforted by the fact that he seems to enjoy his surroundings. I can drop him off and not worry about him all day. He talks of his teachers and several of the other friends he has made at the daycare, so I know he feels comfortable there, that it truly has become a home-away-from-home for him.

Not only have I been pleased with how comfortable Eric is at the daycare, I have loved the convenience – walking distance from my office at St. Cloud State University! I have been delighted with my overall experience, so much so that I wanted to pass that on to you. The people we have encountered have all been professional. The director has been wonderful in answering all my questions and making me feel warmly welcomed. I have been impressed with the detailed daily schedule and monthly calendar of events – including occasional field trips! It has been a wonderful experience for both me and my son. I have had experience with other day cares in other places, and this has been our most wonderful experience to date.

As working parents, it is hard to find a place where you can provide a comfortable and secure environment for your child; however, we have found that place at Gaetz daycare. We are writing to let you know this is the best daycare in the St. Cloud area. Our daughters receive all the care we would expect for them with love and firmness in a warm environment. They learn social skills, patience and sharing. They are provided nutritional meals and snacks daily and play in a large fenced in area where we know they are safe. The love and patience Gaetz Kiddie Kare provides for our daughters is the kind of care we would want every child to enjoy. We feel very lucky to have found a place where we know our children are safe and can call their second home.

It’s hard to find someone you can trust with your children, but we highly recommend Gaetz Kiddie Kare as a safe place for your loved ones to call their home away from home.

I have been with Gaetz Kiddie Kare since 2004. Both of my children started out in the infant room and one has already graduated from the Preschool program. My second will be following the same path in a few more years.

The staff at Gaetz has always been very supportive of my children. I trust them and their decision making. I have even gone to them for advice. They have taken the time to really get to know my kids and take an active interest in their lives. My daughter calls day care home sometimes. That makes me feel confident that she enjoys her time there and feels comfortable. She has built positive relationships with the staff and other friends in her same age group.

The curriculum that is used to help prepare the Preschoolers for Kindergarten is awesome. When my oldest son started Kindergarten he was more than prepared for what was being taught. One of my most proud mommy moments was at his first parent teacher conference. His teacher asked me what Preschool he went to because he was advanced for his age. His reading skill set was that of a student in 1st grade and his math skills were also advanced.

Of all the things that Gaetz Kiddie Kare has to offer, my favorite is the stability and structure. The kids know what to expect and when to expect it.

Now of course, daycare is not all work and no play. My daughter loves to tell me on the way home each day all the different games that she got to play and all the different princesses that she got to dress up as. There are also field trips that the kids get very excited about and even I get excited about them. They are always very fun to chaperone. The kids have gone to the grocery store for a tour, a local restaurant, the library and even the zoo and the apple orchard.

I would definitely recommend Gaetz Kiddie Kare to anyone that is looking for affordable, quality child care for their child. I don’t just consider them my child day care; they are kind of like family. I will be very sad when my youngest graduates.
